The Isle of Wight Randonnee is a free, non-competitive cycling event that regularly draws in thousands of enthusiastic cyclists from across the country.
Established in 1985 by the Wayfarer Cycle Touring Club, it’s a longstanding ride that caters to all abilities, with a full 100km route. Tour the Island clockwise, offering spectacular views across land and sea.
2026 marks the first year Mountbatten Isle of Wight has organised the event, continuing its legacy while helping secure its future as a community-focused cycling experience that also supports the Island’s only hospice.
A family event, the Randonee isn’t about racing around the Island as swiftly as possible – between 9:00 and 18:00, simply cycle the route at your leisure and take in the wonders of the Isle of Wight.
If you complete the 100km route route, to celebrate your success, you’ll be able to pick up your very own Randonnee commemorative medal.
Registration is open now, there are limited entries available this year, so get booking!
